"Promo code worked, but the timing made it frustrating"
I used Fandango to redeem a promo code for movie tickets, and it did work eventually. I think part of the frustration was just bad timing on my end because I was trying to get the tickets quickly before the show, and it took me a few tries to figure out where to actually enter the code. The total also kept shifting a little once the fees were added, which didn’t help. The tickets came through fine though, and I had no issue at the theater. I just wish the promo code part was clearer. Not terrible, not amazing either, so I’d give it 3 stars.

"Easy enough, even in a rush"
I used a fandango gift card to grab movie tickets while I was kind of rushing, and it was mostly easy. It took me a minute to figure out where to enter the gift card code, which was a little annoying because I was trying to get it done fast, but once I found it, everything went through without any issues. I do wish the fees were covered a bit better, but overall it worked like I expected

"I had an issue with my tickets…"
I had an issue with my tickets, so I reached out to fandango support. The person who responded came across like they were annoyed right away, if that makes sense, and they kept giving me short replies that didn’t really solve anything. I asked a simple question, but they just repeated the same line like they wanted me to drop it and go away. It was really frustrating and didn’t feel professional at all.

"Easy to Use with Nice Rewards"
I use Fandango often, and the reward points do add up nicely over time. I’ve been able to get discounts without much hassle, which is always a plus. It’s not anything overly fancy, but it works well and makes buying movie tickets a little more rewarding.

"Am I the only one who gets mildly…"
Am I the only one who gets mildly annoyed when picking movie seats turns into a mini-game? I used Fandango to buy tickets and the seat selection did work, but it felt a little clunky. A few seats looked available, then after I clicked them they were suddenly gone, so I had to back up and choose again. Not a huge deal, just kind of frustrating when you’re trying to book quickly. I still got my tickets in the end, so it was fine overall

"Unreliable little headache"
This thing just isn’t reliable enough. I wanted to like it, but it kept letting me down at the worst times like a total pain in the neck. If you need something you can actually count on, this little troublemaker probably isn’t it.

"Pretty solid lately"
I’ve used Fandango twice just this month, so that’s mostly what I’m judging it on right now, and both times the showtimes lined up perfectly with what the theater had. The only thing I noticed was that seat availability didn’t always update as quickly as I’d like, but based on my recent experience, it’s been reliable overall.

"Kind of what I expected with the timing"
The times weren’t always right. I had a feeling that might be an issue going in, and this pretty much confirmed it for me. It wasn’t a total disaster, but the timing being off here and there was definitely noticeable.

"Super Easy Ticket Purchase"
Got my movie tickets emailed to me super fast, like there is absolutely no doubt they have that part figured out perfectly. Checkout was really easy too. My only tiny complaint is that the fee could definitely be a little lower, but overall it was a smooth experience.

I accidentally booked the wrong showtime and immediately had that annoyed sinking feeling, but fixing it on Fandango was actually painless. "Checkout was a little glitchy, but it worked out"
Checkout acted a bit weird for me at first, like, it glitched and I wasn’t totally sure if it went through. I refreshed the page, though, and then everything showed up fine. My tickets were there, no drama. it wasn’t a huge deal, just one of those little annoying moments, but it sorted itself out quickly

"Easy enough and worth it for movie night"
I’ve used Fandango a bunch of times now, and overall it’s been really convenient. I like being able to compare showtimes without jumping between different theater sites, and the prices seem reasonable. The fees are a little annoying, but not enough to stop me from using it since it saves time. Tickets have always worked fine for me, so I can’t really complain

"Easy ticket checkout"
I was expecting the usual checkout nonsense, but this went smoothly. I picked my seats, paid with my card, and the confirmation popped up almost right away. The fees were shown before I paid too, which I always assume is where sites try to sneak stuff in, but there weren’t any surprises. Nothing fancy, just a simple movie ticket purchase that worked like it should.

I bought our tickets through Fandango and the confirmation came through just fine, so I figured we were all set and it would be a quick scan-and-go situation once we got to the theater. But when we got to the box office, their system apparently didn’t have our order ready or synced up or whatever was supposed to happen on their end. The cashier was nice enough about it, but she had to call someone to figure it out while we just kind of stood off to the side waiting. It ended up taking around 15 minutes, which doesn’t sound like forever, but when you’ve got kids with you and everyone’s excited to get inside, it feels a lot longer. We missed the previews, and the whole thing was just a little awkward and frustrating. To be fair, we did eventually get in, so it wasn’t a complete disaster, but the coordination between Fandango and the theater’s box office really needs to be smoother. It made me feel like the systems don’t always sync the way they’re supposed to.

Used fandango on my phone to get movie tickets. Easy. No printing. No waiting in the ticket line. Just scanned the barcode at the theater and went in. Only thing. The app took a minute to load when I was already inside. Kind of annoying. But not a big deal. It worked fine overall. I’d use it again

I’m usually the kind of person who misses the fine print because I’m in a rush or just not paying enough attention, but the prices were actually clear. I didn’t feel like I had to dig around or ask a bunch of questions, which was nice.
